The SUNSON project was represented at the Thermal Energy Decarbonization Summit 2025 (TEDS2025), held on February 19 at the Basque Country Technology Park in Vitoria-Gasteiz. The event brought together creators of ideas, industry professionals, and institutional decision-makers to address the challenge of decarbonising high-temperature industrial processes, covering the entire value chain from policy definition to new business opportunities.
SUNSON’s partner IDENER.AI attended the summit and showcased a poster featuring the project’s latest advancements in concentrated solar power technology, generating valuable discussions about the role of solar energy in driving a more sustainable future.
The conclusions drawn at TEDS25 open the door to a real decarbonisation scenario for industrial companies of all sizes, based on circular economy principles and techniques associated with the electrification of heat and renewable energies.
The SUNSON consortium would like to express its gratitude to the TEDS25 organizers for providing a platform where innovative ideas and meaningful connections come together in the pursuit of a cleaner energy future.
