ORGANIZED: UPM, IDENER and HOLOSS
DATE: 9TH SEPTEMBER 2024, Madrid (Spain)
On September 9, 2024, partners UPM (Madrid), IDENER (Seville), and HOLOSS (Monção, Portugal) met at the Instituto Solar de Energía (IES) in Madrid for an internal technical workshop to refine the planning and workflow for Work Package 6 in the SUNSON project ☀️.
UPM and IDE, as part of the project coordination, began the session with an overview of task organisation, expected results, and project milestone alignment. All the participants reviewed the WP6 workflow, interactions with the Project Management Board, and the timeline for upcoming technical activities. A key outcome was the agreement to propose a date for the first coordination meeting with HOLOSS and other relevant partners. This meeting will concentrate on defining the technical solution to be evaluated—such as the scaled-up version under consideration—as well as establishing clear expectations for the Life Cycle Assessment, including the specific variables to be examined. AS an example of close collaboration among the consortium, HOLOSS will also take the lead in organising follow-up technical meetings to iterate on the results obtained from partner data. These sessions will serve to validate findings, refine methodologies, and ensure that progress remains on track with project objectives.
This meeting reinforced the partners’ commitment to a well-coordinated, timely and technically robust execution of SUNSON’s next phase.
